A Unique Look into the Historic Fine Arts Building of Chicago

  • Fine Arts Building 410 South Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL, 60605 United States (map)

The ICAA Luminaries Young Professionals invites you to a special tour of the Fine Arts Building, a haven for Chicago artists since 1898. It is “a home for art in all forms,” housing painters, musicians, puppeteers, sculptors, dancers, designers and much more.  We will share a brief history of this beautiful and storied building, followed by an exclusive look into the studio of William Harris Lee, one of the finest workshops in the tradition of great violin houses. A private tour of J. Lawton Thies Architects and wine reception will round out the evening, and everyone is welcome to explore the building’s “Second Fridays” open house following the event.

Special thanks to Therese Madigan, Davis Butner and Beth Spencer for organizing this event.

Tickets start at $15
